The gardens in the rear of the Governor John Langdon House
contain an extensive perennial bed and a bordering a large,
rectangular lawn. The lawn is divided by a rose and grape arbor
planted by Elizabeth Langdon in the early 20th century. The grounds
at Langdon House may be enjoyed during museum hours. The Langdon
gardens are a popular locations for weddings and other special occasions.

unchanged since the Rundlets' site plan of 1812. The gardens include
